About us

The KRUK UAV Operator Training Center was established on April 6, 2022 by Viktor Taran in collaboration with Anton Frolov and a dedicated team of instructors. It was a respond to the urgent needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces for highly qualified UAV operators.

KRUK became the first certified non-governmental UAV operator training center, officially accredited by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. We provide comprehensive training programs for various types of UAV operations and related specializations, as per Order No. 145 issued by the Chief of the Main Directorate of State Aviation of Ukraine on December 26, 2023.

We are proud to have a close partnership with the Vidrodzhennya  International Foundation and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and to be recognized as a verified school within the "Army of Drones" project.

Our center operates from the Training Center for Comprehensive Volunteer Preparation (DCG) in Kyiv. This location enables us to integrate realistic military elements into our training processes, ensuring maximum effectiveness and relevance.

Since full scale inception, the KRUK Training Center has trained over 6,000 operators, including personnel from the following units and organizations:
